Passenger window stopping!

Alright so I've heard several things on what to do about it but I was wondering if any one has the absolute answer. my passenger window goes maybe half way down and pretty much stops and then i can push the down button again and it will go just a little more. if i push it while holding the button it will go really slow. any suggestions on what to do

First, inspect the glass runs (including inside the door) to see if they're wrinkled or misaligned. If so, reposition/replace as needed.

Then try some silicone spray lube in them (but avoid getting it on the glass) so it slides better. Also lube the regulator mechanisms with white grease, and inspect them for damage/wear.

Mine did the EXACT same thing and I took it to me dealer and they fixed it. They said the tract bar got out of line mine would stop halfway all the time and sometimes the motor would push it through a little at a time, but it would go down just fine and go up to that halfway point fine and then die.
