tonneau cover replacement

My 2000 f150 has finally worn out the factory tonneau cover that it came with. It is the type that slides in place using a track. This setup has worked great for the last 7 years. The cover has been taken off and put back on at least 75 times over the years. The soft cover of the system has finally worn out. Is there a source for buying the cover only or does the entire system need replacing? Thank you.

Doesn't look like you ever got a reply to this post but I am in the same shape and just want to replace the OEM cover only and use the existing rails. Did you ever find anything?

Hi there. The only places I have checked so far is a local dealership and the online store at f150online. The dealership wanted a lot of money and the online store did not offer just the cover. Will continue the search.
Good luck to you.
regards,
steve

Good luck on finding a replacement cover. I doubt if they make them anymore. I just had a truxedo lo-pro put on and it's great. Works very easy.

The local dealer has them for $320. I've looked at the Trxedo LP and it's a nice cover. Not sure if I like the inside rails though. I've been looking at roll up only because I throw the dirt bikes in the back so hard won't work but I saw the Extang TriFold and it looks easy enough to remove the whole thing that I am considering that.

any luck finding replacement parts?

I have been looking for replacement corners for my cover. Ford will not tell who made the covers. If you have any information, could you pass it along?
I have a 2002 supercrew, love my truck but stuff has been getting wet since the corner broke.

Thanks
Donna

tonneau corner replacement kit!!!!

I was going through the glove box of my truck and found a little plastic baggie!!!
Tonneau corner replacement kit. Part #1403234-2 from Lund (1-888-588-6049). Call them, they will send for free. Other sites list this part around $10.
Can't wait to see if it's the correct part. Tired of getting the wrong part and still have a crappy cover.
They might even have replacement covers, which I might need soon.
