does anyone no if a 99-03 bumber and grill mounts are the same on a 97 and 98. i just recently go in a crash in my 97. i have to replace the whole front end and i liek the way the 99-03's look so i was wondering if that would just fit right in with the old mounts.

 

Yep, they mount the same. Only differences are: The brackets that hold the bumper to the frame are different, so you'll need the brackets that fit the 99 bumper. The other difference is the plug for the fog lights, you'll have to trim off the notch on the plug so it fits into the connector. I personally have done this swap a few years ago and its very easy to do.

 

Doing same swap grille bumper & valance 97 to 2000 XL. Have all the parts ...put the grille on today. Doesn't look like the hood & head lights line up? are they the same 97 to 2000? it might just be me...had to stop because i lost sun light. i have the factory 2000 bumper brackets and two braces for the valance. Do i need the two braces for the valance? I didn't get the valance with the fog lights it's a 2000 XL bumper valance & grille. Doesn't look like the braces fit any were on the XL valance?
