mirror!
mirror!
Hey i just picked up my new OEM driverside mirror b.c mine was slammed by a crazy nissan armada 2 weeks ago. Can someone Please tell me how to take the take the driverside paneling off and put the new mirror in. Any help is appreciated
Start with thw 2 bolts/screws on the very bottom of the door panel. You have to kneel over to see them.
then use a flat head and pop the black plastic that is behind the interior pull handle. That should expose to bolts. Get those out, and there is a third in there I believe.
You also need to use a flathead and gently pop the cover that goes around all the power windows buttons etc and get that stuff unclipped or at least slip it out.
I think that's it... should be 3 bolts and 2 screws. Then you just pull the whole panel straight up, and off. If it won't budge, you missed something.
I personally have to use a flathead and gently pop off the speaker cover and un-do my speakers to remove my panel, but I think it is just because of my custom mount plate that attaches through the panel itself. Maybe check there if it doesn't budge after everything else.
Good luck

Hey Babba - The same thing happened to my mirror, I'm looking to get one online. How much was yours and where did you get it?
I Need Drivers side for a 2005 Lariat supercrew with indicators built in if anyone is there that has one.

Do you or any body have any tips for geting the panel back on?? its at the point to where I just want to go to the dealership and have them put the panel back on.

Oh, make sure the door lock pin is UNLOCKED and up so you can align it in the hole as you drop it on more easily.

Ye thanks lundmar im gunna go out and try it now using a little bit more force, its just that there are so many clips, got my groud force kit on and boy its so much better than the DJM handling wise and its higher too, ur truck must be on rails considering how low it is.
No worries. I finally got the panel back on today, these little things that the spreaker hex screws thread into were keepin me from getting the panel flat against the door and sliding ALL the clips in so i took them off and did finished the job the proper way this afternoon.
