Wind/Flapping Noise Driver Side Window/Pillar

four trips to dealer with 2006 F150 and still experiencing a flapping noise near base of window pillar, at hi-way speeds-especially with cross-winds. Anyone able to get this resolved?

I hate to drag this out of the archives, but I have this same trouble and it occurs on both sides. It is getting progressively worse. The radio can't drown out the noise anymore. I notice it most at highway speeds when there is a heavy cross wind.

The noise sounds like flag flapping in the wind and smacking against metal. I thought it might be in the plastic fender wells, hood insulation, or wire harness, but can't find anything loose or visible rubbing.

Any ideas?

Check the black plastic trim that runs from the base of the windshield and over the top of the cab.
