What is this?
The radiator will be the one closest to the motor, then (going from motor to grille area - or back to front) your A/C condenser, then side by side (if you have a factory trailer towing pkg.) an oil & transmission cooler. Trace the lines to figure out which is which. I have never seen/heard of a power steering cooler - not to say there is no such thing.
Then dents in the fins are normal, if you replace it with a new one - the dents will appear after a couple months of driving. The more dents there are, the less cooling effect it has. The dents are caused by road debris - the front of your truck catches more crap than you realize. So, if your going down gravel roads alot - stay far behind the person in front of you (avoid flying rocks).

It's definitely the condenser core, and you can buy plastic combs at Harbor Freight or any HVAC supply house to straighten them out without damaging them or your fingertips.
To keep bugs off, I lined the back of my grille with black wire mesh (screen). It's invisible, but it keeps rocks & bugs (& birds) from impacting the condenser. When it gets loaded up with trash, rip it out & replace it. Much cheaper & quicker than the condenser.
