How to remove side panel

Hey ive banged up my passengers side side rear fender pretty bad. I have a 2001 F150 with an extended bed. I just want to know how to remove the old fender and install a new one because im not gonna pay a place 2 grand to replace it or fix it. Can i remove the fender without removing the whole bed? Also how much would a fender be for an extended bed and would i have to paint it? Anything helps! Thanks!

yes you can, without pulling the bed. provided you have a flairside bed with fiberglass fenders. they just bolt on. you just remove all the plastic trim that hides the bolts. it will need to be painted . they come blackprimer from the factory. You may get lucky and find a clean one in a wreaking yard the same color as your truck but that hard to do. Good luck
