Single cab + steps

Hey, do you guys think that it would look stupid for my single cab to have those step bar things on it? They look great on the supercrew, etc., but I've never seen them on a single cab. Opinions???

No, not stupid unless they hang too low, personally I've always liked the moulded steps on a 2wd, or bars right up tight with the body. Too much bar hanging way too low and out does look dumb. The important question is are they needed, ie. short people, or kids? Even still, I'd look for the step rather than the bars. Just my opinion.

If you want to see what they look like on a regular cab / short box / 4x4, go to my gallery. I think they look fine - and they prevent both stone chips from the front tires and door dings.

Ya see, he's got bars that are the best of both worlds, flat step with chrome bar and it's tighter against the body and doesn't stick out.

Yea, but they still catch your pant leg and coat it with salt in the winter time. The trade offs are worth it so far though. By the way, mine are the factory polished aluminum bars.
