door actuator?

hey everyone. just a quick ? for you guys. i have a 2000 5.4 super crew with power locks and aftermarket remote start/keyless entry/ alarm. my problem is the passenger door lock never comes up. it started it about a month ago. it doesnt come up with the remote or the push button inside the truck. it comes about half way only then sinks back down. if you open from the insite with the handle (which pops the lock up manually with the rod) it works fine or unlock it outside with the key its fine. so i am thinking the acuator is shot? the linkage is obviously working if i can get the door to lock and unlock manually. it doesnt matter if u i use the remote, drivers side unlock or passenger side unlock its the same half up and then back down. what do you guys think???

just an update everyone. the problem was the door actuator. i bought a new one from the stealership for $60.03 and started digging in. it wasnt that bad at all and my style didnt have the rivets like i had thought. it just clips in to place on the lock. it wasnt really too bad execpt for getting the latch rods off and then forgetting which way the one that goes to the lock from the outside key lock went ( had to rip apart the drivers door to see ! haha) but all is well now and works like a charm thanks to all those that helped and if anyone wants step by step just let me know i wrote it all down!
