Hey im looking into buying a 97-02 f-150.. what im looking for is a "stepside or flareside?" they seem to be kinda rare maybe could i buy a plain f-150 can you swap the bed later? and would it be hard???

Not hard, a little heavy though. Should bolt right on. I think you may have to also get the gas filler neck but don't quote me on that. Used auto recyclers usually stack these on racks so it shouldn't be hard to locate a local one.
