Everyone - I've got a 98 Flareside that is painted the desert sand color. I want to accent the lower body with a different color and paint the fender flares too. Anybody got any good ideas? Anybody know what the OEM colors are for Desert Sand? I think the accent color was black.

 

i've seen True Blue on those that looks OK. i'm not a big fan of two tone paint anyways so one color would work for me.

 

I happen to think Ford's chestnut KR color looks the best on mine, of course I may be a little biased, lol.

The stripe is hard to see, but it's a 3/4" bright orange stripe, with a 1/4" black on the middle. Looks pretty close to a factory combo. Anyone remember the white and tan 98 Lariats, with the purplish blue stripe, hehe.,,,,98
