Hey, I want a OEM "look" body kit for my 2001 standard cab short bed flareside f-150. Mines a 4x2 and I want the same kind of body kit that Lightnings had from the factory...not too flashy but just right. All I have found so far is one for ext cab model...not standard cab.

Also, I know this is a stupid question, but are those lightning style front bumper covers really just covers? Do they slip on over your existing bumper or what? I told you it was a stupid question.

hey i have a 99 black flareside ford black and i am planning on doing the exact same thing you want to do. im also wondering if the bumper cover slips over the existing bumper. i just put a stock honeycomb grille on mine to replace the chrome 2 bar grille. lightning rims in a month! just need the body kit.. if you look on ebay i think you can email this guy about seeing if there is one for a single cab flareside. this is the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-04...51198522QQrdZ1

I'm still looking for that body kit. If your interested, I got my lightning rims on tirerack.com for $125 a piece (closeout price). Tires on the other hand were $200 a piece . I went with 285/50/18 Yokohama Advan ST's.

 

well if you look here on the f150 online site they have classifieds and go to lightning parts and they have 4 people selling lightning rims for good prices with tires included.. once i get my next check i may look into giving one of those guys a holla
