Rear window seal

Hey guys, just reading the TSB posted earlier about leaking rear windows prompting me to branch off on a similar topic. I have a reg. cab with slider rear window. My question is about the seal around the window. Under the plastic shield, is it supposed to, at the bottom be close to the gap if not protruding through and somewhere in the middle curve towards the brake light leaving a hell of a gap at the top corner? It really only ever leaks after a powerwash, that I know about. Also, I notice it mounts different than say a subercab which sits more straight up, mine has a little slant at the bottom towards the rear.

It's kinda hard to say if your window is sealed the same as mine, but I get no whistling. A little rattle when the rubber is cold, goes away pretty quick. Also like I said, I have seen a little bit of water after bieng powerwashed. Looking at the seal, it curves in funny and doesn't outline that plastic trim at all, not so much to be exposed, but doesn't follow it underneath at all. I just assume leave it because only hitting it with high pressure water does it seep in at all. Just wondering if anyone's was like this too, the rubber under the plastic trim looking like it routes funny.
