Lariat Wheels

Why on some Lariats, like mine, the center cap is a light color, but i see around town, other lariats have a darker center cap, just wondering why

What year Lariat do you have? The '04 Lariats had a silver finish wheel and center cap, the '05's have a gold finish and cap to match the lower two tone paint. This might be what you are noticing.

yeah, now that you said it, all of the ones witht he darker cnter cap have had 2 tone paint
