Help with power windows........

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is the correct spot for this, please move it if you need to.....but,

My buddy has a 98 F-150 and his drivers side front window seems to stick to the inner or outer seals at the bottom. It squeals and really makes the motor work hard getting the window up and down.

Is there any type of lube I can put on the rubber seals that won't ruin them or get all over the window?

Thanks for the help..

Jeff

Ford makes a "vent window lube" that was originally intended to lube power vent motors on SUVs and minivans, but it works fine on power windows too. It's clear, so you won't really notice it on the glass. Remove the door panel, gob some of that stuff in there and it oughta be good to go. Worst come to worst, your buddy may need a window run.
