Driving with tonneau lid up

Does anyone have experience with driving with their tonneau lid up? I have a Leer 700 series on my '05 Supercrew. I need to haul a sofa to a friend's house and I don't really want to remove the lid. I've travelled with it up for about 10 miles at < 40 mph with no problems, but this trip would be longer and possibly at highway speeds.

Ive done about 50-55 with mine up with no problem. I have an ARE and the shocks on it works great so it dosnt fall back down with the wind resistance. I think you will be fine just use a bungee to hold the tonneau cover down as close to the sofa as possible.
