fiberglass bed cover

'05 F150 Supercab flairside- Can anyone recommend a quality cover for this truck? Just had my second Century installed and it is junk! The bed rails are twisted, there are gaps in both front corners that you could throw a cat through. This is the second one I have had installed. The first one had holes in the top surface where the latch screws protruded. Both were installed by the Century dealer. The locking latches had to be repositioned because the bed rails were so distorted. This thing is pretty sad and I won't have it on my truck.

Your experience with Century reminds me of my experience with ASTRO...

I now have an ARE lid... it is the LSII model and it screams quality.

Other solid brands include Leer and Jason (and probably a few more but, those are the tops three).

I feel pretty confident that you can't go wrong with any one of those... just depends on the way you want yours to look.

Here's ARE's website

Best of luck!

I'll second the ARE LSII lid. Top notch quality.

thanx for the input- I checked out the LSII. It has the same type of frame structure and lift arrangement as the Century. I think the biggest problem is the double wall of the flairside makes clamping the thing a real problem
