Cool

It looks like they masked the bed rails. I'd have them removed. They'll probably have to repalce them with new ones. Same with the body side mouldings. Take off the rear bumper.

I had a friend that owns a body shop look at your pics. He said to have it painted right they need to pull off all the moldings and trim. Anywhere they mask off with tape will create a line in the clear coat. Eventually it will peel. He stated that they need to paint around the edges of the body panels to prevent this. He wouldn't ever paint a vehicle this way. Hope this helps. Post picks of the new paint job when it is done.

Arrow Would this be enough to give you an anxiety attack?

I'm on the edge right now! The guys at the body shop keep giving me assuring pats on the back and telling me it will be OK.

To bring yourself up to speed on what's happening, Look in this forum under "They're going to paint my whole truck."

I stopped by the shop on Monday 6/11 and pointed out the fact that the bed rail caps were masked off instead of removed (they are supposed to replace them anyway) as well as other questionable areas. He said he would make sure that was taken care of. I'll see soon enough.

las52,
The grab handle install is outlined in detail in this forum under "Grab handle for driver's side A-pillar." And actually, I have the stock head lamps back in right now. One of the 80/100's burnt out a few weeks ago. So, I put the stock ones back in. They don't have a very long life expectancy. About 18 months with every day use. I haven't gotten around to ordering a new set yet. I've been thinking of getting a set of '01 Lightning head lights and will probably wait until then.

Lightbulb

Yep,yank the rails, the bumpers, and the side window weatherstrip. They should pull the grill off too, just for good measure.
The front bumper cap should be painted seperately too. What are these guys thinking? The side trim should've been the first thing to go. Good luck,,,,98
Is it done yet?
