Question Can you wax over decals?

I thought I posted this one already but I guess not... Anywho, I was just curious as to find out if anyone know's if you can or should\shouldn't wax over decal's. I have a splash decal that cover's pretty well the whole sides of my truck and It would be quite a pain to have to go around it all while waxing. If it's not a good idea to wax it, if you do wax it is there something that you can use to get the wax off?

Thanks for the help!
