The power mirrors on my supercab 2000 Lariat do not pan and tilt as directed by the switch in the cab. I can tell the driver's side mirror to pan left but it actually goes left and down. "Up" is more "up and left or right" never just straight up. The mirrors are just not responding correctly. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

I've had the same problem with mine. Turns out when you push the actuall mirror around with your hands. And it makes that popping noise. Or if it gets out of place somehow. The electric doesn't work correctly. Try to pop it back to the straightest postion possible then see if the power movement is more acurate.
