ARE for me. I like the Hard cover looks, but its got to cover up those side bed protectors. Nothing uglier than a nice hard tonneau with the black stuff hanging out of the sides!

Undercover for me. I like the way the black contrasts with my white s'crew.

FORD Soft Cover

Got this one just after I bought my f-150. It has bows underneath and rolls up when you need to load up. I tow now and then and this thing hasn't failed me yet. I love it.

It zips down on the side and back rail like a zip-lock bag seal. The wind does not bother it at all.

I have an access cover. The only thing I do not like is that the rails sit about an inch and a half off the bed rails. I think that they have a different one that does not though, my fault for not looking enough. For me the ability to roll up and out of the way was a very important factor, I am always using my bed. It has velcro sides and almost invisble crossrails, these were also very important factors to me because I hate the look of snaps and the big ole arched bows across the bed. I am very happy with it so far, I've had it for almost a year w/ no problems, very easy self install.

I had a ASTRO PLATINUM cover on my 2001 KR...

I loved the looks of the lid but, it was VERY poorly built and the paint was AWFUL. Furthermore, there were serious manufacturing flaws like screws extruding on the underside and had a VERY poor carpet job (factory). Long story short, there's a reason I went with ARE on my 05'...

My LSII on my 05 KR...

Long story short, there's a reason that ARE is the industry leader... The quality is second to NO OTHER LID I'VE SEEN. The paint is nearly perfect, the fiberglass is VERY smooth, the functionality is flawless.
