I will be ordering an '05 supercrew FX4 soon, and I want to paint the fender flares that come with the truck. How are they attached so I can remove and re-install after they are painted?

I also plan to paint the mirrors, tailgate handle and door handles. Any ideas on how to get the mirrors painted? Will I have to remove the entire mirror, or just the plastic backing?
