I bought my truck used and it already had the chrome oval shaped ford step bars on it and they look really good but I wish they were black. In my opinion there aint any better looking nerf bars for a supercrew. New black nerf bars like mine are $370. I want to know if there is any way to get them black like having them powdercoated or rino lined or somthing like that.

 

i like the chrome better especially with the front and back bumpers being chrome. my truck also has the 10 spoke aluminum wheels which sets it off real nice. i get compliments all the time. personally i think it looks silly putting black bars on a truck that has chrome on it but that's just my 2 cents.

i fine chrome a lot easier to clean, just use never dull once and while and they shine like new. had mine for 2 years and they still look brand new. to each his own.
