Replace vibrating mirror with aftermarket?
It appears I am joining the group of shakey mirrors. Y2K 7700 with 3000km on it. Dealer claims I broke the mirror somehow. I am considering buying the Lucerix mirror extensions out of my own pocket to get away from this problem. Any experience out there with the Lucerix mirrors. Do they vibrate?

Go to another dealer or print out a TSB for the shaking mirror. They should certainly fix it since your truck appears to be still under warranty.

Do you have a bug deflector? Some brands can cause the mirrors to vibrate
Do you have subs installed?

It's embarassing when I'm driving out in public with my girlfriend, though. She's a hazard to other drivers every time she tries to straddle the damn thing.
