Unhappy How do i remove my Pin stripping?

Hey all.
On my truck i have gold stripping on the side of it. It seems to be 2 pieces of tape that are on there and its starting to peel and break off everywhere making my beast look ugly. I already tried bumper sticker remover with no success and i dont want to harm the paint underneath it.
I really would like to remove it.
If anybody has any suggestions for total removal i would be thankfull!

Try a hair dryer. It's usually just enough heat to soften the adhesive without harming the paint.

3M makes makes a drill mounted wheel that works really well for taking off pinstripes. Looks a little like a round eraser. They sell them at bodyshop supply stores. Just mount the wheel on your drill, and go down the body on the side edge of the wheel, kind of like a wire wheel. They work really well, and even removes the adhesive. You might run into one problem though. Where the pinstripe was,the paint has not faded, and it may leave a "ghost" stripe when you remove them. A good polishing may help, but you may have to get the stripes redone,,good luck! ,,,,98

I've had this problem before. I had a 95 ford that I tried to get the ford emblem off the tail gate. It damn near took me all day. Then came my smart a$$ friend. He told me to use a propane blow torch. I told him he was full of *****. So when I had enough of messing with it I went to Walmart and got one for like 20 bucks. Sure as ***** it worked! Here is the trick. You hold the flame on the sticker. Dont hold it in one spot! Move it back and forth for like 10 seconds over about 5 inches at a time. The sticker will almost fall off on its own. Just use your nail on your finger to start to lift it. Then just pull it off. I know this will work on factory stickers. It worked to get those "FORD" stickers off of the tailgate. I have a 2000 sport now. Its gray but the "SPORT" stickers were red. I took them off using this method with no problem or damage to the paint. I replaced them with silver and black "SPORT" stickers. I think it looks a lot better. I hope this helps you.

Car-wash wand at 30-degree angle at 1" distance from end of tape worked for me (when I didn't want it).
