Post Tailgate seals

On the flare sides, I know the 97s came with a pair of rubber seals that helped seal the weather out of the bed. As I recall, one went on the inside of the tailgate "jamb" (if you will) and the other one was on the tailgate itself. Does anyone know if the seals off a 97 or 98 will fot a 2000? In fact, are the holes even there for them? If they were supposed to be on it, I'm missing them... Any info?

Thanks, guys.

I wasn't aware that the other flaresides came with a seal. I was just going to buy some of that rubber door stripping stuff from JC Whitney or a hardware store and use that.

They were just 2 flaps on the tailgate and 2 on the bed... nothing dramatic, but they help keep the spray and moisture out a little bit better than nothing at all... useful for when I get a tonneau cover put on it.

There is a "tailgate gasket" available from the same company the makes the Retrax Rolltop cover. Check out their website.
