Question Has anyone painted their original honeycomb grill?

I'm still debating a grill change for my black 2003 KR SCrew and was wondering whether anyone has painted, powdercoated or chromed (if that's possible) their stock honeycomb grill. I'd be interested in pics and comments on how you did it and how it's holding up.

Thanks...

Dave

I have a 2002 White S'crew and I painted the grill white then sprayed it with clear coat. Painted it about 5 months ago and it is now showing some signs of wear. Nothing but a retouch wouldn't fix. Looks good too. I'll post some pics later.

Thanks for the reply, havok3.

I'm looking forward to the pics. Pleas show some of the "dings" so I can get an idea of what I might be dealing with.

Funny I stumbled on to this post. I just got my 2001 F-150 S Crew and was eyeing my grille options. I'd like to get the Harley Davidson front bumper and grille but I was also thinking of just painting my original honeycomb. My F-150 is balck but my grille is like dark grey. May go w Black and clear coat it...
