I would like to swap out my chalky plastic door handles for some XLT color matched ones. Has anybody done this before or have any tips? Thanks in advance.

 

It shouldnt be a problem switching them if they are the same style but just black plastic instead of painted. I`ve switched mine on the drivers side from the standard to a keypad style one and it wasnt that hard or time consuming. Its just a pain to get the one nut off the back.
Ford is switching allot of the parts over to paint to match so to get the smooth ones you may have to paint them. Or you could possibly do them like the tailgate handle and sand them smooth and paint them up to match
