Electronic Rust prevention...

Does anyone here have any experience with an automotive system like this? Has anyone used one and have any results.

I know that we used sacrificial anodes and electrical systems to prevent corrosion in the navy and they do work and the theory behind them is sound.

Does anyone have any experience with a consumer product and if they actually work.

I have read that these DO NOT work. You basically need to electrify your trucks body. For it to work, I'm sure you have to pump enough current to give you a mild shock whenever you touch the truck.

Also, in the case of naval ships and hot water heaters, the sacrificial anodes and what not are submerged all the time.
