I have a 98 F150 XLT approaching 100,000 miles. I have seen very few XLT's without power mirrors, but I have one. Apparantly, over time, the manual mirrors will wear out and not hold the position they are placed in. Mine, on every bump I hit, will gradually work their way down until I am viewing the road when I look in my mirrors. I would like to correct this and am going to install new mirrors. Does anybody know how hard it is to install power mirrors when they were not installed stock? Are there any kits out there for this purpose?
