Since I have heard about lots of problems with body cracks on late model F-150's, I am trying to figure out just how common it is. If everyone that owns a 1997-2000 F-150 be so kind as to list if you have any door cracks and what year your vehicle is. Please post if you have NO door cracks at all. This way we can figure out just how common it is.

Holy God.. Out of over 1500 people surveyes, OVER 60% have door cracks of some kind.
That's rediculous for a 1997 or newer vehicle.

 

Early '97. No cracks at all.

Door Crack here on drivers side....1999 F150

 

I have door crack on driver side. If everyone would please respond to this and the other questions in the topic titled
"Who has rust and cracks???"
I am trying to compile a list and I will post the results. And I want to get this list to some kind of media.

 

where are all of these cracks you guys are talking about on the door.

1997 Supercab 29000 miles cracks in both doors. Ford is replacing both doors.

Driver side door crack on '97. I've been waiting since the first of the year to get it fix with the hopes that a permanent fix would be found! No luck.. Warranty is up in June, will get it in the dealer by then.

I was reading the post about the door cracks and thought I will go check my 1997 F-150 I just bought used. And sure enough the cracks are on both sides. Not so much on the passenger side door.

 

Year 2000, same mileage, no cracks yet!! Yippie!

'97 F-150 supercab--just bought used a couple of months ago cracks on both doors..drivers door about a quarter inch visible..passenger door just barely showing.
36600 miles but after talking to the dealership and Ford customer service they got 2 doors on order today KEEP PESTERIN' 'EM!!!
