if it works and the hair dryer will you can you 3m thin double sided tape on the emblem to put the new one on. Just apply it to the emblem and take and hobbie knife to cut out the visible areas.

Is it me, or are you talking in incomplete sentances? If you want to tape an emblem to your truck...do this---->Go to a custom picture framing store (like the one I operate), and ask them to put some high-tack fillet or ATG tape on the emblem for you. Your problem (I think), will be solved.
