Cool Turn signal mirror covers

Added turn signal mirror covers to my '01 F150 SuperCab XLT.

Whtatcha think?

The only problem is that they only come gloss black primered and I need to get them painted.

PART NUMBER DESC YOUR COST
YL3Z-17D743-AAA OVL CON $43.43
YL3Z-17D742-AAA OVL CON $43.43

The power for the mirror covers was already at the plug that the mirror plugs into. Just had to run 2 wires through the wiring harness sleeve to the plug on the door. The plug on the mirror cover had to be trimmed back a little and #18 wires soldered to it.

In addition the the mirror housing had to be modded to accept the lights, but some trucks come with a recess already in there I am told. A dremel worked for me.

ChiDiver,
Looks real good. I was planning on going that route till I found an awesome deal for the Muth Signal mirrors NIB for 79.00 from a seller. They should be here Thurs I hope Parts guys here told me I needed the covers and the mirrors to work. I wish I knew you only had to do a little trimming on them to fit and only had to buy the covers.......

Nice addition to your truck!!!!!!!
