Somebody tried to steal my truck, they pulled out the lock on the passenger door. There is a small gauge just under the lock. My dilemma is that I have to pay $200 deductible if I make a claim.
How much work is it to replace the lock? Any suggestions?

 

Replacing the door lock is fairly easy. Make sure to be careful with the interior door panel. I could do the job in about 1 or 2 hours no sweat. I generally do such jobs myself as I like to learn my truck so I consider it an education in addition to saving money.
