Get an adhesive remover that won't harm the
paint. one I've bought before is called sticker shock. spray around the outside of the
emblem, hold a rag under it against the paint.
let it soak into the adhesive for a good half hour, then gently begin working the emblem back
and forth on the paint surface. You may have to apply the remover several times for it to
begin working. After the emblem comes off there will most likely be some of the adhesive
left on the truck. Whatever you do,do not be
tempted to scrape it off with anything! Believe me, it will slip and scratch the fender.(dumb personal exp.) Just keep applying
the remover and letting it soak. Eventually,
it will come off. Sometimes rubbing it with
your finger tips works better than a rag.
That's about it,one more thing. Use a light
compound or polish that does not contain wax
to shine the paint before you put the new ones
on. It makes them look even better when there
on nice clean paint. Have fun!
