Post 4x4 front bumper

I love the way the ford 4x4's look. I have a 2wd but I want my truck look like a 4x4. I plan on lifting it a couple of inches for the appearence. I have noticed that the 4x4's have the bumper with the lights on it. Is there anywhere I can get the bumper and how much would I most likley spend. Thank you

Well, I'm not sure how much you would spend but I had the same thing done. I have a 98 2WD and had a wreck that messed up my front bumper. Since it was going to be replaced anyway, I asked them to put a 99 bumper w/fogs on instead of the 2WD. I like it a lot. Good luck.

Hi.. I just changed my 2wd bumper with a 4 wheel drive one. You should check out the local salvage yards. The bumper should run you about 200 bucks if you can find it used. Then you have to buy the bumper pad.. usually from ford, unless the salvage yard has the color you want. Mine I think was 90 bucks. Then you have to buy new mouting brackets, they are about 11 dollars per side. And a new lower valence is gonna be about 60 bucks. I installed it myself, it takes a while and a lot of patience to get it aligned right. If you need detailed instructions.. I can give you some pointers on how to go about it the easiest way. Hope this helps you out.

Joe
