Thumbs up Bedcovers any other thoughts before i order a retrax

I have done a lot of research of bed covers and i really like what i have heard about Retrax, for my 2002 screw, My discounted price would be $850 +$50 in shipping. but they are currently backed up a couple weeks. This the best price i have found. any one else se anything lower, i am going to order in the next 2 days, unless someone tells me of a better product.

Others i have looked at
Undercover (Locks but have no where to hang when no on truck, Do you have to open cover to lower tial gate?)
access cover (This Locks but can it be cut????)
Retrax (Locks takes up 15 inch of bed when open)
Pace Edward (Poor Design for Screw)
Roll-and-Lock (Heard Nothing Bad or Good any thoughts)
Extang Soft Tonneau (Had one before Great Soft Cover no way to keep the scum of the world out)
Caps (I don't like some people do)
Hard Covers (I Don't like some people do)

Retrax Dealer that help me.

I've had a Roll-n-Lock on my 98 F-150 for over 4 years. It's the original design (exposed aluminum slats) and believe it is of a heavier gauge metal than current fabric covered model.

I've been quite happy with it. Only a couple problems, which I fixed myself.

1) Bolt that holds cylinder (what top retracts around) fell out on one side.

2) Pull strap got wrapped around driveshaft and ripped off about 18 in.

I've had a few times where the top was iced over and wouldn't retract. I imagine that's going to be a problem w/any of the retractables.

I've got a Retrax on my Screw and love it. I wish it didn't take up as much space in the front of the bed, but all of the rigid retractable covers share this problem.

I bought from Joe too, about a year ago. I think I paid around the same price as well. Good guy to deal with, and I had the cover in a couple weeks.

I researched this issue to death last year and came to the conclusion the Retrax was the best option for me. However, I've read plenty of positive opinions about the Pace Edwards and Roll n Lock as well. I think it just boils down to personal preference.

Good luck........
