Question New paint

I am getting my truck painted in a couple of weeks. The truck still has the same factory black paint. The question I have is that I want to use a pearl color but I haven't seen that many trucks or hot-rods that use it. I have heard that on a black truck, the pearl paint will show up too much and it will look bad. I was wondering if yall have seen or used any kind of pearl paint that you like? If not, what color of paint do you think I should go with? Thanks in advance.

RoushFan,
Thanks for the website. I am thinking about doing that now. If yall have anymore paint ideas let me know this week so I can get back to the paint shop. Thanks again.

Cool

The chameleon paints like the mystic from house of kolor are great, but a little expensive at around 350 bucks a pint.

This is a first. The guys at the paint shop talked me out of painting my truck. They said all I really need is a good compound and wax on the paint and it should look like a showroom truck. But I think they really didn't want to mess with my truck so I am going to look some where else.
