Question Install grab handle on driver's side

I am interested in installing a driver side grab handle on my truck. I have read where some of you have done this. Any comments on how you like it? Does it bother your vision? How was the installation? Any replies would be greatly appreciated!

The new SuperCrew has them. If you have them, how often have you hit your head on them? A few of my passengers seem to bang their head on the ones on their side. Maybe I need smarter friends?

No comments on the installation, but my 2000 has one, and I barely notice that it is there. I am 6'3" so I don't need it to get in, but I will probably if/when I lift the truck. I don't know how anyone could hit their head on it... it is really far out of the way.

Mine came installed from the factory on my 2000 I don't need to use it to get in and it doesn't block my vision.

Question

What about the people that have installed them on the older trucks? I looked at the older threads, but there wasn't much info. My truck sits up pretty tall now since I cranked the torsion bars and added 33's. I tend to pull on the steering wheel and I know that it is bad on the whole tilt steering column! Any comments or installation pictures would be great!
