Paint cracking in rain gutters

I had this problem with my 98 F-150...so far so good with the new truck. Quite a few members have discovered this problem. I discovered the problem after only 14 months...and I agree..this should not happen at all. I did not get it fixed.

Paint cracking in rain gutters
Has anyone had the paint crack in the rain gutter area of their roof? I just noticed the cracks and slight bubbling of paint. My 98 150 is past the 30k warranty, but doesn't seem like this should be happening after only 20 months.

I found this problem about an hour after I brought my new 97 home from the dealer a couple of months ago. I read here that there was a bulletin on it. I took it back to the dealer. The odometer said 36,003 miles on it. They just smiled and said no problem. The body shop scraped out the old stuff they use to line the gutters plus took the roof paint down to the metal and repainted it.
Looks pretty good except for a couple of paint bubbles and some overspray on the back of the cab, so I have to take it back somethime. Like to door cracks, and the exhaust pipe replacement, these things have to be done during the original warranty time, though I hear some dealers are a bit more lenient.
