I have a 2003 F-150 without heated mirrors, can they be added if I order them from the dealer? I am getting the run-around and noone wants to give me a straight answer.

I have a '97 and asked the same question a while back. I wanted to add heated mirrors to my truck when everyone was going nuts over the factory turn signal mirrors but I did'nt know if the wiring was already in the truck.

I have seen them on Expeditions and I'm almost positive that they wil bolt right on, but more than likely you'll have to improvise on the electrical wiring. You might be able to get the switch and relays from the dealer but dont tell them what it's for and dont ask any tech questions cause if it aint in their book they cant help you.

If you have'nt already done it try doing a search on the subject.

I have bought the expedition mirrors and did some research, i'm in the process of figuring out wiring diagrams, I just have to look at truck wiring, Its ben a little too cold so I've been procrastinating. As soon as I figure it out i'll post a how-to message.

Well I just purchased some 01 Expy power and heated mirrors.
I want to install on my 97 XL, power nothing
I have searched and searched and searched and no definitive answers.
So as usual with mods I do, if I get it to work I will post pics and step by step instructions.

Seems a lot of ppl have asked the same question and the thread just died, no updates?
