Bumper leaning on one side.

i slid inot a guard rail doin under 5 mph (only clutch, no gas) and my bumper on the passenger sided moved down about 2 inched. I need to get it back up to stock position.

The bumper itself is not bent.. Everything looks good underneath, but the bumper is crooked! both brbackets look the same, ect..

The bumper will not move at all either. No up and down or anything.

Are there adjustment bolts under the truck, or is somthing else wrong?

If you look up behind the bumper, you will see where the bumper bolts to the bumper bracket, and then to the frame.

Check to see if the bumper bracket got bent, if not then you jsut would need to loosen the bolts, have someone push back up on the bumper from behind while another looks to check if it is level, and then tighten it back down. 3 people is the easy way, but it could be done with 2.

Hope the bumper mounting bracket is not bent behidn there, if it is, just order one from fordpartonline, fordpartsnetwork, and I foget the other from lightningcrew, something like oemford or fordoem or another. He just posted it in the 99-01 lightnging wheel thread in the wheels forum ( sory I can never remember that site for some reason ).
If it is bent, is is more a PITA to change, then expensive.
Good luck, hope it is only the bumper pushed down.
