Post Frozen windows

Every morning during the winter, both side windows are frozen closed. After an hour of driving with the heat on, the windows will break free. Any ideas how to prevent this?

With the weather you've been getting in NY lately, why would you want to open your windows?

You could try one of the many spray de-icers and spray the windows.

If you can cover the windows with a truck cover or something similar..you will keep the moisture off of the windows and they will not freeze shut.

The ice/snow melts during the day, seeps into every crack around your window and seal...then freezes at night. I experienced this all of the time after living in Wisconsin for 15 years.

I have a king size black sheet that I occassionaly drape over the cab at night (during freezing temperatures), which is large enough to cover the front windshield and both side windows. I have never had to scrape any windows or had frozen windows. Any frost or ice comes right off when I pull the cover off of the truck.
