I think I saw a thread with this topic somewhere...but anyway I had the same problem...so I painted 'em. Easy to do. Pull the plastic covers off, remove the bolt, then gently , gently, wiggle the wiper arms free. To get mine off I had to tap lightly with a hammer on the pin in the middle that the bolt came off of. Tap, wiggle, tap, wiggle. Basically friction holds them on after you remove the bolt.

Paint 'em, I used the Hammered Black from Rustoleum (looks cool). Put new blades on(might as well) and then reinstall.

Good luck...they look much better when you're done....I painted my antenna to match to boot.

I think everyone has this problem. And yes there was a thread earlier about this. Most painted or replaced them. I was and still am looking for a local powder coating place to do mine.
