Double Din in Lightning--Pics Inside

I had to do some "modifying", but it is well worth it. One can always replace internal dash pieces. Not for the weak.

just curious... how did you secure those in the dash? Nice and sturdy so someone can't just pop off the plastic and yank it?

double din

Well, as far as I'm concerned, anybody can steal anything if they want it bad enough. I've seen dashes ripped up, console broken, and trunks beaten open to steal low end audio. Mine isn't too securely installed. It has 1 screw on each side going through the plastic to the cage. My truck is always in my garage or around people I know. The screen has a detachable face but sadly the DVD doesn't. If you come to a Talon meeting, I can show you.
