Question Stereo wiring scheme?

Could someone point me to a stereo wiring schematic that would clearly show which wires are which. I'm trying to install a JVC CD player and need to match up the new harness with the existing wires. I have a '96 F150.

Thanks!

on all of the wiring harness' that i used the wires were color matched. that is, just match the color of the wire on the adapter with the same colored wire from the truck. it should work as long as the adapter was vehicle specific.

Try here I hope this helps but imho a wiring harness is much easier to use i used 2 harnesses one for ford and the other for my stereo so i didnt have to splice 1 wire .....

I just recently installed a new stereo and replaced all my speakers in my 1997 Ford F150 4x4 X/cab.

The best bet is to contact Crutchfield or your nearest installer and purchase a wiring harness for your vehicle.

It's so very simple to install and use. It takes out the guess work.
