I just placed an order with Crutchfield. Anyone want to buy my current factory CD unit, it has the cooling fan? If you are email me rancee4@swbell.net

I apologize for the spelling errors in my previous post.

Installed XM on a houseboat (friend's) this weekend. Actually did a little more than that:

Alpine 7893 headunit hooked up to 8 Kenwood marine speakers and -
2 - Pioneer GM-X564 amps
4 - Bose 151 speakers on top of boat
1 - 12-inch amplified sub
1 - XM tuner

Started 9 am Saturday morning, finally subscribed to XM at 12 am Sunday morning. Must say I was impressed with the sound quality of XM, even in the middle of Lake Lanier. I highly recommend it - can't wait to get it in my truck.

Thumbs up

I completed th install. Complete Pioneer setup from the headunit to the XM tuner and antenna. It took 1hr and 45 min to do the whole thing. Crutchfield gives great directions and good setup equipment.
The sound is crystal clear, now my wife wants one. She thought I was nuts for asking for satellite radio, one listen and she wants it. Now I need to learn the channels so I know where to look.
