What is the best alarm out the with a reasonable cost??

Also to any of you out there who have one installed where did they put your alarm led ?

 

I have a 2001 F150 Super Cab..I installed a DEI Viper.
Alarm with remote start..My LED is in the overhead console.
Looks real good, you can see it from any side of the truck,

 

I was wondering if anyone out there knows where to find an in

lock led light , like the ones in the vw's that are right there in the

same plastic housing as the door lock itself. any help with this

would be much appreciated thanks. =]

 

Most trucks I've seen have the anti-theft light already installed in the dashboard console. I don't see how hard it would be to use that as the red LED.

On my 97 F150, it didnt have the anti-theft light so they installed an LED in the plastic panel to the left of the steering column, just underneath the speedo cluster.

Has anyone seen the led in the lock frame on the door before or

does no one sell this product?
