I used the regular stuff

We had some trouble with the extreme, so I broke out the roller and heat gun and used the regular stuff. Worked great!

Maybe trouble was a strong word. One of my friends is an installer and he gave me a hand. The extreme dynamat is more sticky than the regular stuff, and we had some trouble getting it from our hands to the roof. It kept wanting to fold back on itself and got stuck to me, my friend and any other unfortunate thing that came into contact with it. Some parts of my roof are in extreme, but the majority was done with the regular stuff because you have to heat it and use a roller to push it down because it's more stiff.
I talked to him last night about this, and he told me that he's done another roof since...went alot better than mine did. He thinks we just may have had Murphy's Law working against us. He told me you should go for it. I would if I were you, especially since you've already got the good stuff.

Oh, he came up with another hint. He said that you will want to warm the truck up a little bit first. They initially had some problems because the roof was so cold...as the truck heated up a little, the installation went alot smoother and he was done in no time.

He works for Best Buy @ Pentagon City, name is Brian Eaton. I'd just give him a call.
