Pioneer CD-CM1 question
Pioneer CD-CM1 question
I have already ordered the DEH-P7400MP HU and the XM tuner, and I saw this gadget, the CD-CM1. Any of you Pioneer geeks know if it works/is worth the money? Seems too good to be true for $25-30 bucks.
TIA...

Can't help you with the CD-Cm1 but I recently installed Pioneer XM Radio and love it. If you have not activated XM yet shoot me an e-mail and I can give you a promotional code to get the first month free of charge. E-mail address

I just purchased and installed the Pioneer cd-cm1 cell phone mute. It was pretty easy to install to my DEHP-6400 HU. I did have to use my own spade terminals though to connect from the HU to the cd-cm1 unit's connecting wires.
I caution all of you though! This device only will work with analog cell phones on the 800 MHz band. Digital signals will not be detected, and the radio will not mute. When I switch my Kyocera phone to analog only, the mute works perfectly. But these days 99% of the world works on the digital CDMA, so this device is basically pointless.
Oh well. $26 to sit there and look pretty!
If anybody has a question about this device, email me and I'll be glad to help out.
